San Juan Unified Middle School Teacher Glenn Alejandrino Arrested on Child Sexual Abuse Charges

Sacramento County middle school teacher Glenn Alejandrino, 49, was arrested on Tuesday, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said. He is accused of giving students alcohol, marijuana, pornography and sex toys, authorities said.

Sheriff’s officials said Alejandrino was arrested on suspicion of multiple felony counts that include lewd or lascivious acts with a child younger than 14 years old, lewd act on a child with a victim more than 10 years younger than the teacher, communicating with a minor with intent to commit a sex offense, furnishing marijuana to a minor younger than 14, contributing to the delinquency of minor and molesting a child younger than 18.

Authorities believe the incidents took place at Alejandrino’s home. They also believe the victim’s parents’ knew the students were at his home.

Alejandrino worked in early childhood education from 1996 through 1998 and as a sixth-grade teacher at Cowan Elementary School from 1999 through 2012, according to the Sheriff’s Office. He transferred to Arden Middle School in 2013.
