Attorney

Cristina J. Nolan

Cristina has focused her legal career on representing survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Many of the survivors Cristina represents are children, adults victimized as children, or vulnerable adults. Cristina has been involved in the most significant sexual abuse cases in the nation, including those against Redlands Unified School District, Torrance Unified School District Los Angeles Unified School District, as well as the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange and Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles.

“Childhood sexual abuse is one of the worst traumas a person can suffer. I believe each and every survivor deserves to have a voice and trust in a firm with the experience, tools and drive to represent them. Our goal at MSF is to hold institutions and those responsible for failing to protect children, who are the most vulnerable in our society. As an advocate for survivors, I am extremely passionate and determined to help make a difference in their lives by fighting for them every single day. I am often asked by people whether the area of law I practice is hard, given the subject matter. My answer has always been, "Absolutely, but it is always worth it to help survivors obtain the justice they deserve."”

Her dedication to fervently representing survivors is shown through the six-figures and multi-million-dollar settlements she has obtained on behalf of survivors. As a native Spanish-speaker, Cristina also takes great pride in working with the Spanish community, often marginalized and forgotten, to help survivors understand their legal resources and options, and to help them seek justice.

Cristina cares deeply for her clients and takes great pride in representing each of her clients to help them obtain what they deserve--healing and justice.

Before MSF, Cristina attended California State University, Fullerton and obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, with a minor in Spanish. Thereafter, Cristina attended Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law. While at Chapman Law, Cristina was a member of the Mock Trial Board, an ABA Arbitration Competition Regional Semifinalist, a member of the Minority Law Students Association, Vice President of the International Law Society, and became certified as a mediator. Cristina gained practical legal experience by serving as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Frederick Aguirre of the Central Justice Center Superior Court of California, and as an extern in the Anaheim City Attorney’s Office.
