Prosecutors said Collins persuaded a 17-year-old to engage in sexual acts and admitted to posing as a teenager online in an attempt to meet with a minor.
Collins previously resolved civil actions with 16 men who reported they were abused by him when they were boys.
The abuse occurred during periods when Collins worked in Mount Kisco, including at the Boys and Girls Club of Northern Westchester, and during his employment within the Chappaqua School District.
Collins was formally sentenced to 19 years in prison following the court’s ruling.
Authorities believe there may be additional victims who have not yet been identified and encourage anyone with information to come forward.
Anyone with information or who has been victimized by Collins is asked to contact the local investigative authorities.
