At the firm, Sonny represents survivors in complex sexual abuse litigation against schools, religious institutions, youth organizations, and healthcare facilities. His practice draws on deep litigation experience including case strategy, institutional accountability analysis, and skilled negotiation and trial advocacy.
Sonny earned his J.D. and MBA from Santa Clara University, where as founder and president of the Veteran Law Society, he successfully petitioned SCU to vastly expand its financial commitment to the Yellow Ribbon Program. As an Honors Law Clerk at the Santa Clara County Office of the District Attorney for two years during law school, he worked on complex criminal cases and developed insight into institutional failure and victim support.
A former U.S. Marine Corps Infantry Squad Leader, Sonny remains active in veteran organizations and represents his clients with the warfighter mentality instilled in him through his time in service. His dedication to excellence is grounded in personal values shaped by his wife and two children, who inspire his commitment to fighting for those who have been harmed.
