Torrance Music Teacher Held on Child Pornography Charges

Eric James Mitchell, a teacher at Calle Mayor Middle School in the Torrance Unified School District, has been arrested following allegations that he possessed child pornography. A search of Mitchell’s home resulted in the seizure of computers and hard drives believed to contain images of child pornography.

Torrance Unified is already under fire after a wrestling coach, Thomas Snider, at Torrance High School was arrested on child molestation charges.
