Teacher Who Gave Birth To Teen Student’s Child Arrested

Laura Elizabeth Whitehurts, a 28-year-old high school teacher at Citrus Valley High School in Redlands, California, has been arrested on suspicion of having sex with a 16-year-old student at the high school where she taught. Whitehurst has since given birth to the minor student’s baby. Their relationship reportedly lasted for one year.

While the police are still investigating, the school district is expected to provide a statement shortly.
