Santa Ana High School Teacher Arrested on Suspicion of Having Sex With a Student

Alvar Albert Gonzalez, a science teacher at Santa Ana High School, has been arrested on suspicion of having sex with a 16-year-old female student. Gonzalez, who is 45, was placed on leave in December of 2014, when it was suspected that he had kissed a student. A subsequent investigation has revealed that Gonzalez had sex with the 16-year-old girl approximately 9 times while she was his student.

Gonzalez had been a teacher at Santa Ana High since 2001
