LAUSD After School Coach Arrested on Suspicion of Lewd Acts With a Minor

Ronnie Lee Roman, 49, has been charged with multiple felony counts of committing lewd acts on a child. Roman is a long-time Youth Services coach for Beyond the Bell, an after-school program offered at LAUSD elementary and middle schools. Roman’s victims were female students between the ages of 7 and 11. If convicted, Roman faces up to 135 years to life in state prison.
