After More than 4 Years and 20 Alleged Victims, Pedophile and Priest Michael Stephen Baker Has Been Arrested

Although the U.S. Supreme Court held that the statute of limitations for sexual molestation cases would be strictly enforced, Baker’s arrest is based on allegations of the sexual assault of a young boy which falls within the statutory period. Because of the extensive investigation involved in preparing this case, officials feared that Baker may attempt to flee the country to avoid prosecution and as a result, as soon as enough information and support had been gathered, Baker’s arrest was made.
