Entertainment Lawyer Linked to Childrens’ Shows Enters Not Guilty Plea in Child Sex Case

Benjamin Lawson Adams, the entertainment attorney who was recently arrested upon suspicion of engaging in sexual intercourse with a minor, has pled not guilty. Adams was charged with three counts of lewd acts upon a child, oral copulation of a person under 16, two counts of sexual penetration by a foreign object and one count of sodomy of a person under 16. The sexual assaults allegedly occurred in October and September 2015, after Adams contacted the victim through a social media app and arranged to meet him in person.

At this time it is not known if Adams met his victim through his work as an entertainment law attorney.
