Shauna Marie Sims is a junior high school teacher arrested late last year on suspicion of child molestation. Sims faces three felony counts of performing lewd acts upon a child between the ages of 14 and 15, one felony count of unlawful sexual intercourse, and one misdemeanor count of child annoyance.
Authorities say that on at least three separate occasions in 2014, Sims performed lewd acts on a 14-year-old boy while she was a special education teacher at Parks Junior High School in Fullerton, the OCDA says.
Sadly, the Orange County DA now fears that Sims could have other victims who have not yet come forward. The OCDA is thus asking anyone with information to contact Supervising District Attorney Investigator Kelly Core at 714.347.8794 or Brea Police Detective Dave Wearp at 714.990.7625.
