Former Franklin High football coach gets 36 years in prison for sexually abusing players
A former Franklin High School football coach was sentenced Friday to more than 36 years in state prison for sexually assaulting five boys.
Jaime Jimenez, 48, of Los Angeles, was a volunteer coach who assisted the full-time staff.

Montebello Teacher Arrested on Suspicion of Statutory Rape of 17-Year-Old Student
A Montebello teacher was arrested on suspicion of statutory rape of a 17-year-old girl, the Whittier Police Department said Saturday.
Brian Lee Ward, 46, was arrested Friday in Whittier. Ward is a high school teacher at Vail High School in the Montebello Unified School District.

EAST LANSING – She told Michigan State University she was sexually assaulted by Dr. Larry Nassar during a visit to his campus office in 2014 for treatment of hip pain.
