Morgan Stewart devotes his practice to advising national multi-family and commercial real estate clients on legal issues including construction litigation, insurance bad faith, general corporate formation issues, contract negotiation and development, and personal injury. As an emerging leader in the industry, Morgan’s reputation for detailed and thorough counsel has allowed his clients to focus on their core business, while avoiding costly and unnecessary legal action.
He has counseled local and national commercial and industrial real estate clients in numerous states and has appeared as pro hac vice counsel in Arizona, Oregon and Nevada. He is commonly called upon to speak and publish articles on wide-ranging topics, including those affecting the multi-family housing industry. His influential articles have appeared in regional and national publications and have garnered national recognition for their insight and forethought into important legal issues facing the real estate industry.
Morgan, a Southern California native, attended San Diego State University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in English with an emphasis in creative writing. He received his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law, where he served as the managing editor for the Pepperdine Law Review and clerked for the Los Angeles District Attorney's office, handling criminal felony and misdemeanor cases.
Prior to becoming associated with Manly & Stewart, Morgan was associated with Freberg & Manly in Irvine, California. He also formerly practiced in the corporate litigation department at Proskauer Rose, a large civil litigation law firm with offices worldwide.
Morgan is admitted to the States Bar of California and Texas as well as the United States Federal District Court, Eastern, Northern, Central and Southern; and the U.S. Supreme Court.
